-new visual effects for both offensive and defensive bonus
-unused officer support halo effect re enabled
-works with custom mods

Admittedly I still wouldn't pay much attention to the leadership effect since there are just way too many better things to pay attention to.
However I do simply enjoy the cool effects that serve as clarification on what did the leadership buff actually do.
