= [TWS] Skylance Railgun Turret =

Lore:

"Tesseract Weapon Systems" has produced multiple custom turrets in the past.
However, None of our ship based turrets were truly viable for the defense of ground installations.

The "[TWS] SkyLance" however, was purpose built to keep your bases safe, and shoot down any enemies
who dare to approach. Its Salvo functionality coupled with its great elevation and depression make it a formidable
weapon against air and ground targets alike.

Thanks to the new advancements in defensive AI, the SkyLance can target enemies at 2km range, and also
resets it's orientation automatically once all enemies are destroyed/fled.




Important Info

> This turret does NOT require any scripts for any of its functions.

> The automatic reset won't trigger when targeting a station.

> Due to the nature of event controllers and timers, the azimuth reset will always be off by 1-2°

> Should work without most of the DLCs, except warfare 2 (haven't tested it tho)

most likely tied to the "share inertia tensor" try turning it off.

For some reason the azimuth rotor isn't able to move if I build this directly on my base. But if I connect it through a connector, it's fine. How fix?

I'm sure I'm probably missing something simple but I can't for the life of me figure out where you're turning the last railgun in the chain off from. It's not in the event controllers and I've gone through every other block looking for a call to it but I can't seem to find it.

@ Sylver are you using weapons core because that will often cause that message with vanilla mods.

That's definitely weird. Did it remove the custom turret controller for you somehow? It should be inside directly next to the button panel to your right.

If it still doesn't work, feel free to message me on discord (Alrunes) and we can use screenshots.

I can't think of any reason why it wouldn't work tbh :rinconfused:

Sorry to bother you, I wonder if there is something i need to do to get this properly working? I got it connected with the conveyor, but its not doing anything when enemies are around
