For anyone who experiences moments similar and doesn't know, press the ~ key in game [above the Tab key] and type tcl it will toggle collisions [enter tcl again to re-enable collisions after]. I only have had to use it occasionally when my character clips into the front of the power armor and gets stuck while trying to enter it.

caa animarchetypeplayer

and

caf

.... animation went back to normal

You got attacked during your session at the crafting pot. It happened do me at some points in the game. The radroach attacked you and the game fails to interrupt the work at the crafting station. So you glitch out of crafting and don´t get any control over the character. It has nothing to do with the next gen update. Just make sure to kill any foe around you before you enter a crafting table.
