"Springfield M1A Super Match, in the same identical setup as shown in the anime show Highschool of the Dead. This is also the same rifle used in “that infamous/legendary” sniper scene at the barricade.

This rifle is owned by SAT Officer Rika Minami, but was acquired by Kohta Hirano when it was found in Rika’s apartment. Rika has highly modified the rifle with all sorts of aftermarket parts, but the base rifle is a M1A variant, a civilian version of the military M14.
Rei Miyamoto uses this rifle as her main weapon later on the show, albeit as a spear with the M6 Bayonet attached. She was never seen firing it likely due to her inexperience with rifles. The M1A is mislabelled as “M1A1” in both the manga and in the anime, likely due to a typo.
