If you want to make re-skins or re-upload any of my addons, you have my full permission to do so. I'm not a gatekeeping a$$hole, and my mods are free for a reason. The least I'm asking is to credit me and any other authors involved appropriately in the description. Adding me as workshop contributor is not necessary.

Can you teach me modding?
I no longer teach people modding, simply because I have less time now due to full-time job. I would highly suggest asking in Dead4Mods discord server for all Source related modding, especially for L4D2. Plenty of resources, guides and tutorials available in dedicated channels.

Hey 8sianDude, I wanted to ask if you could make a version of the Ithaca 37 you made for L4D2’s pump (wooden) shotgun, but without the aimpoint sight and rail mount on it. I like how detailed the model of the shotgun itself is, but since there aren’t many mods for the pump shotgun to be replaced with an Ithaca 37 out there. I think a version of that shotgun without the scope and rail mount can have some potential, and could be pretty popular at an instant.

Use Asset Studio for extracting models and materials. But long story short, the devs had started to use streamable assets with GFL2, so a lot of the assets aren’t in the game’s physical file. You’ll have to download most of the asset files directly from the API server using a few python scripts.
