Description
Dragon Engineering & Robotics Group proudly presents the Small Autocannon Mech Pod!



This module is a paste-on compartment containing a special orbital drop pod that carries 8 Small Autocannon Units

Simply paste this module onto any ship that you want, and drop squadrons of fully autonomous mechs into battle!


Each small unit is complete with 2 custom Autocannon turret arms on either side, and the ability to walk towards targets.

With enough of these, you can easily deploy hundreds of units to overrun any planetary base near suitable drop locations


This pod is capable of deploying units on any vanilla planet including the moon and requires minimal settup!

Just follow the guide given on the LCD, and the rest is up to you.


Warning:

DERG is not responsible for any injuries that may result from clang or unauthorized modifications.

Pod will only function when dropped from above 2.5km.

Warranty void if dropped on unsuitable terrain or launched below the height threshold.

Limited ammo and fuel included

Their performance is mixed

- They are capable of walking and are stable enough
- They can get up as long as they detect an enemy. Falling over is not a problem
- They do not handle rough terrain or obstacles very well as keen AI isn't smart enough to do pathfinding
- They target players and enemy vehicles and bases extremely well and can be deployed in groups with other ai units

I've been interested in using small scale mechs as "infantry" of sorts. How well do these perform as infantry units and how stable is their walk cycle?
