Secure your doors with a passcode.

The eighth release of nine from STRP, a new way to lock doors.

KeypAdder allows you to add keypads to standard doors to control access.

To get started with this addon, you need a KeypAdder. Right-click to set a passcode - up to six of any number from zero to nine - and then left-click a door to attach it. Once the keypad is attached, you can use the keypad interface to lock and unlock the door. Made a mistake? Hit R on your KeypAdded door to remove the keypad from it.

This addon also comes with a unique keypad cracker. Instead of just unlocking the door once completed, you are presented with a puzzle very similar to Wordle. The more numbers you guess, the more battery power you use from the keypad cracker. Run out and you'll need to resupply with a battery entity. Once you've solved the puzzle, you have the passcode!

Due to how this works, it will not work in singleplayer! Start a local two-player server instead!

This addon has custom materials, so you'll have to resource.AddWorkshop( "3242398000" ).

This was tested to work in Sandbox and DarkRP. All players will be able to remove all keypads in Sandbox. In DarkRP, however, only the owner of the door can remove keypads. If no one owns the door, anyone can remove the keypad.

I made this because I didn't want fading doors in my DarkRP server, but I wanted some way to better secure your houses.

in sandbox when i use mouse 2 it doesnt make the menu to set the keycode

it seems that (on sandbox at least) if you use the keypad remover, the keypad model still remains on the door even though the keypad itself is gone
