The only cheese spot I found (I made the DLC additions to the guide day one when no one had any other guides for it at the time) was on the Crater Lake Map. If you know of others you can use pre-Crater Lake, then you can absolutely just grind to Level 35 then & beat the last one or two Maps to finish off with "I'm On Top of the World".
The order doesn't really matter because this DLC always end in a grind to Level 35, so if you can definitely do that first; Reputation Ranks are irrelevant for Achievements (apart from Rank 1).
Sarah's Gift is Deacon's trademark gas tank we see in his flashbacks with Sarah; we receive the Gas Tank/Achievement when we reach Reputation Rank 1. Which you will reach naturally by beating the first 4 Par Scores.
For the 2 Days 2 Gone Achievement, you can also do it on Hard 2 difficulty. It doesn't have to be Survival 2.
I think the difficulty level of game play is the same, between Hard 1 or 2 and Survival 1 or 2, but with the additional loss of fast travel and the permanently displayed minimap/HUD, on the Survival settings.
Permadeath is actually really forgiving since you can play on Easy as well as respawn back at the start of an Act if you do accidentally die; you'll lose progress, but won't have to restart the game from scratch which is nice.
The Challenge Mode is fun. Most are actually pretty easy to do, but some of the Horde Challenges are pretty difficult. The videos I linked by Borislav 247 are super useful. The Broken Road also adds its own horde survival Challenge Mode on top of that, but I found it was less difficult... though they throw some pretty massive hordes at you which is intimidating.
I followed your guide for the achievements I missed in 2021 when I first originally played Days Gone on PC, and I want to thank you so much for including little screenshots of the map areas with them all numbered for collection! Thank you so much!!!
Now I have to do challenge mode, the horde assault and then the NG Permadeath run!
Again, your guides are amazing, heavily detailed and just... perfect!
Also, thank you for mentioning at the top of the guide that you need to do 3 full playthroughs because my dumba** almost put it on NG Survival II Permadeath... I would have been here for MONTHS haha!
I will 100% check the videos out you provided for the challenge runs and stuff, good karma and all and give them some likes too!
Thank you man for another EXCELLENT GUIDE!!!
