Description
If you ever felt that you can't get enough research slots, even with the available focuses, then this mod is for you!


It adds a neat little menu that lets you unlock 7 new research slots, each slot taking longer and being more expensive to get than the last. Obviously to prevent countries like the US or the Soviets to get 10 research slots in 1936 there is a pretty long waiting time when unlocking a new slot. Anywhere from 100-480 days. Along with that there's also an expensive Civilian Factory and Political Power cost to getting a new research slot.

If you are playing as a small country you can optionally choose to make the unlocking cost more time and more Political Power, but cost less Civilian Factories.

first update:
- fixed button position (hopefully)
- fixed a bug with the unlock research button
- added new text so you can see how long you have left without opening the menu

It appears that the mod has an issue when running the game at a higher resolution, the "Unlock a Research Slot" button ends up being moved down and onto the research buttons.

@Bambinobob one issue with that might be that the mod is designed for base hoi4 so you might have way more research slots than you'd hope. as most countries would unlock all the research slots by 45-49
