Description
Honestly, this is something I just made for myself to make him feel more fun and what I had hoped more for him as an official faction. This mod makes him immune to regionless attrition (as well as a few other kinds), removes his personal army's upkeep, allows you to recruit Grudge Settlers or Adventure units anywhere, allows for some oathgold to be generated on-ship, buffs a few of his buildings in his ship, changes the Grudge Settler unit cap to 20 (just for laughs), allows you to recruit Grudge Settler units at T5 for the main airship (Once again, just for laughs) remove trespassing penalties for Malakai's main army and allows you to begin his adventures from turn one (Which means you can begin getting his fun stuff from the word 'go). I personally made it so I can abandon his first settlement and wander off elsewhere to fight whatever I want as a one-army faction for laughs.

If you like it, I'm pleased as punch. If not, I made it for me so...Yeah, have a nice day.

Regionless attrition: If you don’t own a settlement you suffer “Regionless” attrition.

What I am trying to work on:
Find a way to change 'Trade Deal' mission objectives with 'Non-Aggression'.

Much, much, much later plans: Learn how to make a custom movement stance that will allow for unrestricted map movement over mountains, oceans, and allow you to attack from it. Doubt I'll give it Ambush properties, but I never know.

Known Complication: If you abandon your settlements you don't own territory, therefore don't interact with the Grudge System as the new update scales grudges based off of your neighbors.

I will look into it later when I can if it is anything Dave, but thank you for looking into it. I am kind of tied up on the road so I can't do an update at the moment.

Good news is another mod that disables trespassing bonus is still working, so not a major deal! And may be just me, who knows?

So unfortunately I am not seeing Trespass Immunity with either version atm. Stinks cuz otherwise have the perfect setup to be one-lord hero hording like Grudgebringers mod. Would latest patch have done something to that?

ha! more than fair response, and thank you for it. If you figure out the give settlement thing consider empire and bret if more than one can be done tall long game as world police lol

I did this with Malakai because it's fun and it makes sense with a Slayer. He's running off to who knows where to fight who knows what to try and die, managing settlements doesn't come into the equation and I feel MM would just consider it all tedious or disregard it as he would only need resources. In an ideal circumstance I would want to add code to make him give settlements he defeats to a vassal faction like Nakai as the restored dwarf hold and its holdings fund your madcap adventures and allow you to respawn at their locations if you fall. But I am not good enough for that yet and am trying to learn all the coding ins and outs to make it work on perhaps a later variant of the mod.

On another note: Thanks for showing me that mod. Seems fun.

@TehOmnissiah Thanks for the praise, but I can't really do that much.

Most of my own mod is stuff I was able to work around with the basics. If I knew how to add a horde to someone, assign the proper icons, and then customize the effects I would've done so by now with someone like Zatan the Black. But at the same time, it feels wrong with Chorfs just wholesale as you would need to strip away mechanics to do it and figure out what you would want in their place. No home means no caravans, no settlements means no armaments/slaves/income triangle that makes the Chorfs so much fun, and to try and just say 'repurpose them all' is a lot harder than you'd think because if balanced poorly it would just make it either too easy to exploit or just not fun to engage with.

3, In a totally unrelated note... :P A nomadic Dawi-Zar version of Malakai Makaisson would be literally amazing. inversion of this mod... Throwing that idea into the void hoping someone picks it up really. Was feeling cheeky lol

it is meant to be him running around throwing haymakers at enemies as a solo horde.

Is upkeep removed for all armies under the faction or only for malakai's personal army?
