Description
Creates the Archotech Specialist Role that can be added to your Ideoligion with the Transhumanist Meme.

Requires:

At least level 8 in one of the skills : Crafting, Intellectual or Medical
Transhumanist Meme

Gives:

+50% Research speed (20% less than Research Specialist)
+100% Hacking speed (30% more than Research Specialist)
+50% General labor speed (same as Production Specialist)
+1 Quality to crafting or construction (same as Production Specialist)
x150% Surgery success chance (Same as Medical Specialist)

Disables :

Handle, Cook, Grow, Mine, Plant cut, Haul, Clean

This was intended as an alternative Production Specialist that didn't require the Human Primacy Meme but turned out more powerfull than planned.

I created this mostly for myself and some friends and probably won't care for or update it.

Can pawns with this role get a special mood boost if they have Archotech bionics?

Yeah its quite powerfull for a single role, though most of the benefits are just the ability to use a pseudo Production Specialist role without needing the Human Primacy meme and the surgery sucess chance(mostly intended for installing crafted bionics), the research specialist role is more powerfull research stat wise , has less requirements and is also available for those who picked Transhumanist , so an Archotech specialist shouldn't do research unless you have only a single pawn that qualifies for both crafting and research, in which case they will be mostly busy with crafting anyway.

Oh thanks for the info, structures would be even more accessible for people who don't like some parts the of the transhumanist meme like the age reversal or neurocharge demands. This mod was more or less a compromise because i could not figure out how to add the +1 quality to crafted items into an artificial body part.

There are some roles that are locked in a structure, take the alpha memes mod for example, it has the kemetic origins structure and it that unlocks the master architect role, so basically tied to that, since it adds its own structure its probably easier.

Monkey see Monkey do is how all a lot of us get into coding, hehe

Yeah i tied it to the transhumanist one because its how vanilla specialist roles work, not clue how to tie a role to a structure(?) not even sure what exactly you mean with that but I might have an idea from the context. My mod making method is "Monkey see monkey do" basically as I have no experience or education with programming.

A very cool buff to the transhumanist meme, thought it was tied to the archist structure but transhumie is a good one too.
