For the mountain in the background though I used the program mineways to turn part of a minecraft map into a model.
Hammer does have a function to turn a model into map geometry, but for some reason this never worked for me and just turned the mesh into a mess no matter what I did to the model in blender.
I guess what you could do is keep it a model and turn it into a vis occluder so it acts like map geometry, although you would need to make custom collision for it, which takes a while.
Or turn the model into an editable mesh in hammer and fix up the ♥♥♥♥♥♥ up geometry in there.
Or port a minecraft map to cs:go with something like minecraft-to-vmf and then port that map to cs2 using valve's official porting tools.
