id just do the comparisons in gmod but the shader differences (especially phong and rimlighting) wouldnt make them match up how they look in Black Mesa anyway so...
Given how this game tends to ignore almost every workshop addon unless it's migrated over to "customs", I felt like I'd have to do something similar for this one. Again, thanks for the reply!
Just one nitpick, but the screenshots for this addon don't contain a comparison between the patched version and the unpatched version. Considering this was a problem that went unfixed for 10 years; having screenshots of both versions that highlight the difference between how the normalmaps are supposed to look like VS how they are in the base game, would help out tremendously.
Anyways, here's to hoping this gets added to a future patch!
although ive found a few more broken normalmaps so be wary if you do a manual install.
The worst part is I always KNEW the shading looked fucked but I never bothered looking into it. Fuuuuuuck.
