Description
If you've ever found a mod you've liked except for one little part of it, this mod allows you to selectively remove content. It works by pseudo-removing the definitions, meaning they remain in the game so as not to cause in errors, but all references to them are cut so they do not show up anywhere.

This is one of the most useful utility mods out there. The more mods you have the better this is. Overlap between mods and sheer bloat starts to accumulate and this solves that issue.

I have solved my issue, disabling the body size genes in Character editors settings was overwriting cherry pickers gene defs, enabling it then cherry picking them fixes it

Im having a similar issue as Cruel Moose, but its with genes not disappearing from the xenotype editor when they are disabled, i also noticed the right button in the mod settings page at the top isn't registering all the other mods installed

So this is kinda driving me crazy. Vanilla Furniture - Expanded is the ONLY mod that refuses to obey cherry picker. Doesn't matter if I load it before or after. Anybody have a solution to this?

@Kallyous for replacing duplicate items in mods I would recommend Resource Dictionary instead!

@MOD We play with lots of mods. Sometimes a cool mod has a not so cool unbalanced item and I wnt it gone. Sometimes two or mor mods add the same thing, so I want the less cool duplicates gone. Every now and then, a mod add something that is just annoying when shows up.
For now I can metion the mod that adds dirt walls and doors. Dirt walls are certainly a thing in poor communities, but there is no such a thing as "dirt door", that's silly. So I keep the dir walls and remove the silly dirt door. That would be an example of what I use Cherry Pick for.

this works?

I use it to remove duplicate things that I generally don't like to have. Example being when multiple mods have an item that does the exact same thing. Just pick my favorite version to run with.

@MOD Check out 'Hussar Weapon Aptitude Remake' it changes the aptitudes to be weapon classes instead.

Oh thank goodness, I've been needing this.
Answering the question below, I often do Medieval Fantasy playthroughs, and I use it to remove things that get missed by other tech removal mods (like those face masks everyone wants to spawn with) and the default biotech xenotypes that don't necessarily fit with the setting I'm trying to make.
