West Coast Steel Interurban Pack

Description
Originally built for the Southern Pacific as a replacement for steam powered commuter services in the East Bay, these interurbans represent a design that became very popular with several railways up and down the West Coast. The Northwestern Pacific Railway north of San Francisco ordered copies of the design, albeit with a lack of pantograph as the NWP used third rail pickup. After SP suspended electric service and NWP pulled out of passenger service entirely, the cars from both lines were shipped down the coast to the Pacific Electric to help cope with the increased passenger traffic as a result of WWII. One of these cars, #1543, was repainted into Los Angeles MTA livery prior to the shutdown of PE operations. This car can still be visited today at the Travel Town museum outside of LA.

Liveries Included:
Southern Pacific
Interurban Electric Railway
Northwestern Pacific
Pacific Electric
LA MTA

These mods feature multiple railroad specific details based on the livery, such as different power pickups, signage, and grab irons. If you make liveries of these cars I encourage you to mix and match the possibilities! On that note, these cars also feature a proper UV map unlike most of my previous mods, so liveries should be much easier.

Front headlights are L+1, rear headlights are L+2.

The SP/IER cars go great with my Key System layout, available here! https://steamproxy.net/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2874514643

Not at the moment. The only cars with trolley poles are the PE and MTA cars, which typically operated with all poles up in real life. Because of that I decided not to include a poles-down version of the car as there would be very few scenarios in which it would be useful.

Is there any way to lower trolley pole?

I didn't no. There's another RL user who did though.

Truly, and didn't you have an NWP project that got shelved?

Yeah, their electric operations are sadly overlooked a lot of the time whenever I see people talking about them. It was a super neat little set up.

So glad to see the NWP cars represented in any game really
