Alternate Arms for Crusader Kings 3

Description
Alternate Arms is a coat of arms mod for Crusader Kings III that takes inspiration from other coat of arms projects, like Patrum Scuta and Cats Coat of Arms. This project began as a means of porting some of the designs from those projects to the vanilla style, with the addition of some of my own designs for good measure. Rather than keep this project to myself, I've opted to release it as an optional middle ground between the two fantastic Coat of Arms mods, without abandoning the vanilla style. Though I've pieced these designs together by hand using only vanilla assets, many of the designs find their origin with those two mods.

In addition to some of the in-game arms, I've also played with arms generation, hopefully fixing some of the stranger and less appealing designs from spawning naturally in game.

My plan for the future of this project is to maintain it so long as I keep playing Crusader Kings III regularly.

This is a work-in-progress project done by a community member with my own taste and blind-spots. Community suggestions, especially for alterations to arms or for ideas for different designs to better align with history or continuity, will always be welcome.

I hope you enjoy this mod, and please let me know if anything is broken

@nonamedguy @solo thank you both for your contributions and for pointing me in the right direction. Mod is now updated, and I threw in a few other changes as well.

Those are the modern arms of Novgorod indeed. They are an evolution of the original stylized medieval design. The original cross calvary (a cross patriarchal on steps) was progressively replaced by a less stylized isometric structure with steps on 16th c seals (possibly combining symbolism from the novgorod castle and cross designs). The much later imperial arms simply build upon this, rearranging the design which now featured the imperial throne on the steps instead, while adding more symbolic elements to the emblem.

@nonamedguy I didn't know about the medieval one actually. There's the Novgorod republic arms, and those are used as the county and duchy titles, but that's all I'm familiar with. You got a link I could follow?

Why did you put modern novgorod flag, and not the medieval one?

Great! I admire the ambition combined with the modest file size :)

Yes, if I can get it working. The newer version has many many new designs and many new emblems in the wappenwiki style. I'm just presently stuck with it atm.
@Benedictus Can you please provide a link to the mod that you removed?

@dedjustded I ended up no longer using PS as it does absolutely amazing things to european arms, but left a lot of the map with a conflicting style (and that's a lot to ask of a single mod author). I almost had an update ready, though the same bug persisted in different areas of the map as before, so rather than update a broken project with a broken update, I opted to take it down for the time being.

I see you've taken down your previous mod that used to be compatible with patrum scuta, is this one compatible with that mod and if no, do you have plans on making a version that is?
