A-10 thunderbolt II

Description


This is my best attempt at recreating the A-10 fully 1:1. Of course there will be a few features that won't be exact to the A-10 ;)







On the left & right side are buttons to open the cockpit.
Turn on the avionics on the right side. Next, turn on the jet engine master. Turn off the wheel brakes on the ir (Note: leaving the jet engine master on with no throttle drains the battery)

You can throttle up or down with your keyboard arrow keys, or the button arrow keys on the bottom left.
To safely takeoff, turn the throttle up to 5, and taxi out.
The rest of the controls are displayed on the bottom left of your screen.

Don't fly extremely slow and shoot the gun at the same time - or the aircraft might actually stall!
Remember to put your gear up when flying!

Spacebar to shoot the "custom" GAU-8 rotary cannon. ONLY works with inf ammo (sorry!)
(Note: by "custom" I mean I haven't used the in-game boring rotary cannon, I have made my own "rotary" cannon with XML.)

Your left monitor displays the bomb sight which calculates where the bombs will land (drop bombs with 6).

The aircraft will display radar targets on the HUD. The A-10 will automatically warn, and pull up if it detects the ground or any obstacle ahead of it.

Please keep your physics on medium or high! Low physics are not good for this aircraft.

1. + 2. It seems to be advertised as realistic or replica, that's the issue I have with it. Make whatever concepts/fictional aircraft you want, just don't put '1:1' or 'replica' into it's name, it's by far not.

3. I can understand that, but thing is whenever i'd like to load different weapons on it it's very limited by weapon type.

6. It happened on high physics, one compact pivot just can't handle all the weapons on the wing.

7. Again, it has '1:1' in the name and 'replica' in image. It is very far tho, it's not even scaled properly and it has wierd tumor on both sides behind the cockpit.
