Class 37 6V55 Ballast to Dunfermline

Description
Double Headed 37's Heavy Ballast to Dunfermline

Route:- Fife Circle Line
DLC for player train:- BR Blue Pack
DLC for AI:- Kuju loco asset PK & 08 Toc pak; WCML over Shap

Note:- The Metropolitan Line Aldgate - Uxbridge and ECML Peterborough are NOT required

Standard Scenario ---Difficulty:- Medium ---Duration:- 35mins

Description:- You start approaching Dalmeny junction at the south entrance to the Forth Bridge.
You are routed via Inverkeithing to drop some ballast wagons off.
From there you will go as far as the sidings at Dunfermline with the rest of the wagons where you will be stabled for the day.

Driver Notes:- You have a very heavy load behind you. Hence you are double headed.
Watch out for Wheelslip pulling away and braking when slowing down.
There are some severe gradients so make sure you have full control of the train.
We have put in some suggested passing times in the F1 Tasklist. Try to keep to them as far as possible so as to see all AI trains as intended.
Once again we have put a few fun facts along the way.
Enjoy the drive!

We trust you will enjoy the drive as much as we have had creating it.
Please do leave a comment at the end to let us know how you found it.
All comments are very much appreciated and will always be acknowledged.
All the best
Chris and Nat.

Hi RudolfHucker
Many thanks for the comments & glad you enjoyed it.
Ref the mish mash of era's.
All of our scenario's are fictional so some of the AI you see will be from differing era's as most of the routes come with very limited stock options.
We feel that as this is a Simulation Game and not real life, folks like to also see other AI rather than driving mile after mile with nothing happening.
Hence one of our "trademarks" is we normally stick a doubled headed LE somewhere in and sometimes put a Steam Special in for fun. It is our little joke.
You will also notice that a lot of the flags on the HUD do not come with the route.
We take the effort and quite a bit of time in all of our scenario's to put them in with added info so folks can see where they are to make the drive more interesting in the simulated drives.

Thanks agian
Nat & Chris

Not sure if the other commentators are playing the same scenario as me as, while you've made a decent scenario, the mish-mash of eras I just had to swap the stock to be more consistent. Then I noticed the scenario time and wondered if you've mixed up 12H and 24H clocks as the amount of traffic seems more suited to an afternoon setting. Please keep making content though, I don't want to discourage anyone, just for me a scenario has to be within the bubble of possibility, unless that is you're using a fictional route for your creation. Nice touch with info about The Forth Bridge btw.

You may like to know that we have very nearly completed the second part which takes the ballast train to it's final destination at Glenrothes. This should, hopefully be published in the next couple of days.

Hi John.
Thanks for that.
Ref the road bridge, Chris & I did discuss about putting that info in but decided the message would block our AI across the bridge.
You are correct, it is now only allowed to be used by buses, cyclists etc. It also took 6 years to construct but is now falling down.
Maybe those Victorians did know a thing or two!!
Happy driving.
