Description
Prilivsko is a 16 km² fictional proof-of-concept terrain located in the Green Sea region.

Inspired by Arma 2's Bystrica and Army of the Czech Republic DLC "Silver Lion" campaign's final mission "There Will Be Flood".

Prilivsko was made as a proof-of-concept terrain for flooding built-in, as achieving this through tides and setTerrainHeight comes with their own issues as opposed to being done directly from the terrain. As such, Prilivsko was made for this purpose specifically.

Included with the terrain is a non-flooded version for normal gameplay, and an experimental flooded version with 4 m of water.

This terrain was made from scratch in a non-consecutive sprint of 64 hours total as a side project.

Features
- Landmarks such as a main town and a few villages, industrial sites, farmsteads, and a small military base
- Custom lighting config for a more dramatic and unique aesthetic
- Two versions (flooded and non-flooded) included
- Enabled casting shadows on water for flooded version
- Bright nights on clear full moon
- Customized weather config
- Customized ambient animals config
- Curated spatial sounds from Enoch
- Small download size
- Standalone terrain with no dependencies

Additional features
- ACE Weather support (temperature, wind, and humidity)

Technical details
- 4 km x 4 km terrain size
- 2048 grid size
- 2 cell size
- 160k objects
- Elevation range of -5 m to 8 m (-9 m to 4 m flooded)
- Made from a combination of real, fictional, and fuzzed DEMs and satellite imagery data for gameplay and artistic purposes
- Made from scratch in 64 hours

I feel like this could use slightly more trees for like 10 to 20 meters in every direction, there's so many locations where it's very easy to just see the vast flat land outside the map. The industrial area is especially bad about that.

Other than that, absolutely love this map. It's incredibly cool, especially with Simple Craters.

when I try to run this map I keep getting memory crashes, any idea how to fix that?

Hey man, really loving the map. But for some reason I am running into some hefty FPS stutters both in singleplayer and on my units dedicated server (Everyone is running into the stutter to some extent). Do you have any idea how this could be avoided? For reference I normally run most maps at 60-80fps on Ultra.

The real treasure here is the "experimental" flooded map. You see, water will mask IR signatures. So units/players that crouch in flooded ditches become almost invisible to drones and TI vision. It's a really fun twist in PVP and COOP scenarios.

It's got great atmposhere. The building placement looks authentic and is organic: no discrete neighborhoods/bases connected by straight roads. The unique lighting setup and surfaces are a nice change from the European countryside and Middle East. I *felt* damp as I crawled through the terrain.

Will immediately complain, however, that because the heightmap is almost pancake flat for the top half of the terrain, that it's a bit limited for infantry gameplay.

Definitely recommend for a fun one-shot mission for developers. Hope there are more creative maps like this!
