FT Trojan Class Armored Cargo Barge [SDX]

Upon widespread proliferation of OPA designed reactor components, OSI's R&D department managed to get its hands on a few samples. After some careful reverse engineering, the schematics for manufacture and assembly of these new components proved to be instrumental in furthering power output efficiency at no further mass increase onboard all new vessels.

The first commercially available class pushed out to the general public utilizing improved reactor plants is the Trojan Class Armored Cargo Barge. OSI's mainline medium weight hauler, the Bowhead, was long overdue for a succesor, and experience gained from the joint venture with LHI in the Narwhal program gave OSI all the knowledge they needed to push out a better product.

The Trojan takes the armament and drive pack of the Narwhal, while expanding on the Bowhead's bay storage concept to offer a flexible, defensible, and customizable platform.
