Friendly Giant Origin

Description
This Mod adds a unique Origin and Civic. They replace the guaranteed habitable planets with a large world within your starting system.

No Vanilla files were edited; this mod should be compatible with any other mod.

Origin: A Friendly Giant
Your civilization has missed a giant habitable planet in your own home system. Whoopsie! Thanks to complex orbital mechanics this world has hid behind a gas giant for hundreds of years. But now you found it, and it was colonized at great cost and speed.

After things have settled in, the FTL drive was discovered and both worlds join as one to explore the galaxy.


Civic: A Friendly Giant
Compatible with any origin that doesn't change the home world or guaranteed habitable worlds.

Replaces the guaranteed habitable worlds with a large available colony in your home system.
The civic makes colonization a bit easier and adds a small bonus whenever you colonize a new world. This civic can be removed when you own 3 new colonies.

Recent changes
Both Origin and Civic can be used together.

ok, i realized that suggestion.

yes, they are meant to be incompatible. The Civic is basicly the Civic version of the origin, with a few little changes, having both at the same time would make the civic pointless. I kind of see and agree with your argument tho. and i will look into changing it, so there is a synergy.

Is the civic and the origin really supposed to be incompatible together? You can't play one with the other enabled. The origin gives the second colony, and the civic gives the colonization boosts as reference to the backstory of people entering a "colonization fever". They should be compatible imo
