It's exactly how it sounds - all NPCs can now fight each other, excluding NPCs of their own type (both for gameplay and performance reasons). This means even variations of zombie, different
skeletons, bosses, etc are all now at each other's throats, making the gameplay much more chaotic than ever before. Not only do the enemies do melee damage, they even harm others with their projectiles!

This obviously makes the game very broken and unbalanced, which is exactly what it's meant to
be. If you want a much more sane and playable version of this, where enemies are instead
divided into "factions" depending on alliances they would realistically be in, like zombies, skeletons, corrupt, goblins, martians, etc, then you might want to check out my other, very similar mod NPC Warfare. That one is actually made to be playable, this is more for messing around and is probably good for stuff like Youtube videos or streaming with challenge or chaos
runs, that kind of thing.
I highly recommend playing alongside boosted spawns or extreme difficulty, as this (mostly) makes the game easier.

The only exceptions are for boss minions and seperate worm body parts, the former so boss fights aren't completely neutered, and the latter so worms don't instantly die or cause immense lag.

This mod gets poor performance when many NPCs are on the screen, but that's generally only when the spawn rate is significantly higher than normal. The mod is also very incompatible
with modded worms, who tend to cause immense lag depending on how large they are, due to the seperate segments hitting each other. Any using an AIstyle of 6 should be fine though. Vanilla worms are also fine.
Should be (mostly) compatible with content mods, excluding worms and segmented NPCs. If you try to fight Devourer of Gods have fun lmao.

I originally came up with this as a part of my main mod (unpublished) while making some NPCs fight each other, but I quickly realized just how much cooler this is with a larger scope in mind.
While working on this I eventually realized I'd have to choose what kind of mod I want to make; either a chaotic, very unbalanced one that's more a chaos mod than anything, where all NPCs are on their own,
or alternatively something much more finely tuned to be actually playable and more focused in scope. So instead of choosing I just made both :)

What the mod doesn't do: It doesn't change how NPC ai works, so NPCs will not go out of their
way to target other NPCs. I may work on that in the future, but in the meantime I feel like
this is good enough for a side project from my main mod and already changes up the gameplay quite a bit.
