Mo

Description
Mo from Mo:Astray has found his way into Aether! While not being very intimidating, this little brain invader has a knack for grabbing heads and busting skulls!

Mo doesn't have a typical jump. He jumps by holding and releasing the jump button while pointing in your desired direction. The same goes for his double jump too, but Mo can stall himself in midair while you figure out where you wish to jump to. Careful though, as he can only stall for so long before he hurtles down. He has very poor air movement outside of his jumps, and he lacks any recovery moves. To make up for this, Mo can wall cling and wall jump three times, each time restoring his double jump!

You also have no standard attacks either! Instead, Mo will grab his opponent's heads if he contacts them while he's airborne. Afterwards he can jump off of them to do damage and launch them. This action will also restore his double jump if he's already used it. All attacks, strongs, and specials are replaced with a dash attack that also goes in any direction. This dash launches the opponent away from Mo on contact, but it can put you in a really tough spot if your opponent dodges it while you careen into the abyss. Mo can only dash once per leap, but jumping off the wall or the opponent will also restore his dash.

Mo loves to store memories inside him, even those of his most recent face-hugging victim. Taunt while on the opponents head to see some of the info that Mo was able to pull out of their brain. If you want to add your own mind reading dialogue, check out the compatibility discussion pinned below.

This is something I made in a weekend for a fun side project while I work on my first actual character. It is meant to replicate the movement and gameplay of Mo:Astray and nothing else. Some small bugs may occur due to how differently his code is built. While I have tried to apply some fixes to most of these issues to where they are less easy to execute, mashing many buttons at once repeatedly can still cause these bugs to resurface, so handle with care. Mo is not meant to be balanced due to how limited his kit is, but if you can make him work; be my guest.

Also the AI players tend to not function and break when using Mo so don't expect much out of them.

Were you on version 1.0 when this happened? As far as I know that bug got fixed after that version. If it happens again and you can confirm which version you are on when it happens?

bug found! for some reason after dieing the 2nd time I became invisible and then died again and it became normal.

Forgive me for that, I've been trying to figure out how to correctly get his attack's sprite angle and his launch angle when he leaps off of people to be consistent while keeping the rest of the character intact ever since this dropped. The way he was one drop was the best I could get it to work. I'm still hammering at it though.

Not to be rude, but the attacks are kind of wanky. :/

its really good already, some minor tweaks and some variety could do this one godlike (idea taunt to control them for one and a half second, enough to use one move(or more and that they can mash out of it)
