Introduction
Welcome back! Back with another guide based off of Slaid's Youtube video. Go check out the video and his channel!

This guide will basically sort the best diamond gem patterns into 3 tiers like a case hardened blue gem tier list.

What is a Diamond Gem?
A diamond gem is where the majority of the blade is a light blue color with minimal green, dark blue, and purple.

The basis for the Tiers are based on how much blue is on the knife.
  • Tier 1 = 100% Blue + Green Tint
  • Tier 2 = 98% Blue + 2% Purple + Green Tint
  • Tier 3 = 95% Blue + 5% Purple + Green Tint
If a pattern is not listed in the table, it did not make it into the tier list :(

Applying the Tier List to other Knives
For other knives, I would not follow this tierlist as some knives do not have diamond gem patterns. I would highly recommend inspecting the knife in-game before buying or trading.

Personally I like to use OhnePixel's Inspect server because you can choose different maps and its easy to use. The linked guide will show you how to join and use the inspect server.

I also recommend using csfloat's database to filter by knife and then also filter by pattern (listed as Paint Seed on the website). Otherwise, if you're buying from a third-party marketplace, they will usually list the pattern on each individual item and also provide an inspect link which you can use on Ohne's server.

Always inspect the knife in-game before buying it - even for knives on this tierlist. Don't buy it if you don't actually like the way the knife looks.
Thanks for Reading!
Hopefully this guide makes it faster and easier to see where a pattern # lands in the diamond gem tier list made by Slaid!

korenevskiy's is the correct guide not this

Btw pattern 344 is a Phase 4, its rather a max green than a diamond gem

On Korenevskiy's list you'll still get some of greenish spots near the handle, so it's mostly about what do you like more, for me - I fuck more with this list cuz tier 1 actually fits with cool mint's, however tier 1 from Korenevskiy's list does not fit at all.

I think I prefer this list because the bright reflection will give the knife a pure blue color. Love it. However, Korenevskiy's list has more blue on it, in the dark area, it will not show the greenish

Korenevskiy's list is a 100% an update ... he points out the flaws of this list that considers green to be blue ... (if you are not color blind idk how ?!) Gems are based of amount of ONE color and one color only ... Korenevskiy's is the real diamond gem list

idk but mine is listed as a Tier 3 on korenevskiy's guide, and not on here at all. Some Tier 1's on slaids list have a crap top of green on the tip though. I think it looks better w blue all the way to the tip personally.

My pattern 560 is listed as a tier 1 on korenevskiy's guide. How accurate is this one?
