Description
Submarine history
A ship recreated from old German drawings dating back to 1942. It has been modified for use in the harsh conditions of Europe. Weapons were replaced and new ones were added. The submarine's arsenal includes a railgun capable of firing nuclear shells, depth charges, a twin magnetic cannon, a chain gun and, the icing on the cake, two medium-range nuclear torpedoes. If you don't have enough weapons, there is a slot for another small weapon. Discharge coils are installed in blind spots. The vessel is equipped with an attack recognition system, on-board computer with artificial intelligence and an automatic reactor. The wiring is done in a loop mode - the most important systems are looped and even if the reactor fails, they will work as long as there is a charge in the batteries. A 600 hp engine, as well as 4 ballasts, give this submarine good maneuverability and speed. When incapacitated, the ship can go into stealth mode. There is also a reconnaissance shuttle drone on board. After construction, the ship immediately attracted the attention of the coalition, so several prototypes were immediately purchased. There are rumors that ships like "Red Baron" have become a kind of "punisher" for those who are undesirable. The ship's nuclear armament contributes to this status.
Features of "Red Baron"
The vessel is equipped with an attack recognition system connected to a holographic interface that will show the location of the attack with red marks. Also in the on-board computer there is a voice assistant - Rivulet. It will notify you about pressing problems and tell you if any of the systems are out of order. If you want to avoid combat, you can use the "Silent Move" mode. It limits engine power, thereby greatly reducing noise. After all, as you know, the loudest thing on a submarine is the engine, and only then the sonar. There is also automation on the reactor, which allows you to use any number of rods. There are a number of hiding places especially for traitors. The ship's weapons include:
  • Railgun
  • Twin magnetic gun
  • Chain gun
  • Magnetic gun (on shuttle)
  • Medium-range nuclear torpedoes - 2 pcs.
  • Depth charges (1 launcher)
  • Empty slot for a small weapon
The Captain and only the Captain has the opportunity to give the go-ahead to launch torpedoes. Torpedoes have a contact detonation, a fuse - a timer (30 seconds after launch) and an explosion on command (LMB). The captain also has a perescope connected to 4 cameras. There are discharge coils in the blind spots. They are tame, so they can hit the crew only if the one who controls them makes a mistake. They can be controlled both from a button and from a navigation terminal. You can drop the bomb either manually using the button in the weapons compartment or from the captain's terminal. Each ballast has a lever that allows you to drain the ballast and then disconnect the pump from the network. This is a measure against ballast flora. In the engineering bay there is a fabricator and a deconstructor connected to a large cabinet. In honey there is honey in the compartment. fabricator. There is a full-fledged living block with bunk beds. The rise to the airlock has a lever that locks the hatch leading there, in case of invasion by someone else's crew. The shuttle is controlled both from the ship's navigation terminal and directly from the shuttle; the control mode is switched by the Captain in the terminal. There is a mineral scanner on the shuttle.

The price of this device is 26,700 marks. Maximum speed: 21 km/h without captain skills. Maximum dive speed: 22 km/h. Maximum ascent speed: 18 km/h.
Shuttle characteristics
Maximum speed: 37 km/h without captain skills. Dive speed: 16 km/h. Ascent speed: 19 km/h.
Reactor characteristics
Capacity 8000 volts. Melting delay: 120. Ignition delay: 20. Fuel consumption: 0.42.
Attention!
If you want to play this submarine, then you should abandon the Performance Fix mod. Because of it, torpedoes can randomly explode. I didn’t make the torpedoes, I just changed their appearance to suit my style. Their owner gave me the go-ahead to use them, below is a link to his profile:

Generally yes, but there is a small bug. Bots that are configured to repair electronics can sit in ballasts (the necessary tags are set), this does not interfere much, they will still do their job. As a last resort, you will need to remove and add an order. Unfortunately, the root of the problem has not yet been found.

Givi, Sorry, I accidentally deleted your question. And so, regarding exit from the shuttle. There are 2 hatches on the floor. The left one leads into ballast. Right is the exit.

Givi, just undock shuttle, it will turn on, bro) And about torpedoes. You should press red button on navigation terminal as captain (only captain can press it). In the locker in command room you can find guide for torpedoes and shuttle.

Just a PSA, the way to reload the torpedoes is not a submarine shop, but a submarine upgrade shop, in the maintenance tab there's an option to restore shuttles.

Sorry I am new to this game, how do I use the Shuttle? I switched everything on, but there is no light in the shuttle and no way to turn it on. Alsp how do I fire the torpedoes? I can only look at them while using torpedo periscop, lmb does nothing they just stay in the ship. I am playing as captain singleplayer.
