"Armalite AR-10(T), T standing in for “Target”, is a 7.62x51mm battle rifle derived from the AR-10B series platform. This particular model features a match graded stainless steel barrel and a vintage free floating handguard. Since the base rifle doesn't come with any ironsights, I decided to also model in KAC's SR-25 style flip-up sights.

When I was modelling this AR, I learnt that there two different AR-10 platforms; AR-10A and AR-10B.
- The AR-10A is the more modern variant, built on the SR-25. This is the variant you see most AR-10s being manufactured since 2010. They are most distintive by the shape of the magazine well, being a lot more slanted.
- The AR-10B is the vintage older version, with the magazine well being a lot more straighter. It also does not accept any AR-10A/SR-25 magazines. But it can however, accept modified M14 magazines, if you were to drill a magazine catch hole on the side.
