For this to work, you are going to have beaten the game and unlocked the chapter select option.

To ensure you make the most money possible, you should definitely upgrade the machine sword, axe, spear, and heads to level two with the forest blacksmith in the forest castle. Each weapon upgraded to level two will give you an additional 10% discount on items sold by machines.

You will start off in chapter 04-02. Make sure you are playing as 2B, as playing as 9S will make the items cost more. Backtrack until you come across the shopkeeper machine. Buy the thick dictionary. If you have any additional money buy the gold ore, black pearl, moldavite, and filler metal.



If you still have more money on you, you can go to chapter 07-01 and head over to the scientist machine. If you have completed the quest Half-Wit Inventor, you can buy meteorite and meteorite shards off of him. Buy these from him.



Once you have purchased all of the items you can afford, make your way to the resistance camp in chapter 15-04. Once you load in, make your way to the maintenance shop owner and sell everything you bought through this guide.
