Unlockable Warbucks

Description
Enables Warbucks and restores his unlock method (reach 2880 XP).

NOTE: Wheeler will require 3200 XP to unlock while this mod is enabled.

Thank you very much. This new update fixed it and now everything works as it should. Warbucks is enabled and can be unlocked through XP.

Unlock Method option should be "On" for unlock via XP, as "Off" automatically unlocks Warbucks. The new crash was an oversight on my part as I must have never tested the "Off" option after adding the vision code. I released a new version that fixes the crash and have supplied some instructions below on how to relock Warbucks.

Make sure that you have the Unlock Method option set to "On". Then type and enter the following commands one at a time into the console:

Profile.persistdata.unlocked_characters.warbucks = nil

Profile.dirty = true

Profile:Save()

You are correct. I suppose I downloaded the mod before it had a chance to update so I encountered the same error. The newly updated mod was enabled without any errors and Warbucks was unlocked in the character screen. However when I changed the unlock method to off (since I want to unlock him with XP) I encountered this new error screen as soon as I clicked apply. Is there anything I can do to fix it this time?

The mod must not have updated for you as it is impossible for the mod to crash in the same way with the new update. I had even verified the fix as working against an entityscript file I had broken myself to reproduce your error screen. Regardless given the mod is now working for you with the last resort solution I will be considering the crash fixed, as this error seems unique to you anyway. The code causing trouble restored the ability for Warbucks to be a possible name Wagstaff can see for entities outside his nearsighted vision.

I'm wondering what those lines actually do though. Do they remove some features from the Warbucks character?

Thank you for the solution. The new update didn't fix it, it crashed again. However deleting lines 36 to 40 resolved the issue.

I thought about it some more and I decided to update the mod with an extra check to account for your issue given it could crop up for others if vision code is ever altered or moved. Let me know if the crash still persists.

From what I can see based on your error screen the issue lies not with the mod but with your Hamlet game files. Specifically your Hamlet's entityscript file would seem to be either outdated or modified in such a way that the testvisionfn function is absent or inaccessible. Verify the integrity of the game files through Steam and try again. As a last resort you can try removing the offending code from the mod's modmain file for your own personal use (lines 36-40), as it is unrelated to its primary function. I will not be offering any further support given this appears to be a user issue.
