Description
Have you ever just wanted a nice, functional, realistic crab boat? Well I welcome you to the FV Brotherhood. The brotherhood is a crab boat based off of the ones found up in Alaska. It is kitted with a crane for moving gear, a picking boom, a block and coiler, and a launcher to make pot fishing as easy as it can get.

DISCLAIMER
Because of the 40 meter limit on rope length, do not set pots deeper then about 30 meters, I suggest you set with your throttle at about 0.1 to 0.3, the deeper your setting your gear, the slower you need to go.

UPDATES
-adjusted the picking boom to make it easier to put a crab pot on the launcher
-adjusted launcher; added clamps, or "dogs" so you can place a pot in the launcher even easier now. The clamp wont clamp tight otherwise the game will freak out so dont worry about that.
-moved the picking boom back one block. (6/14/2024)
-Slowed crane controls. (6/17/2024)
-Finally fixed floppy crane! (6/18/2024)
-fixed issue where crane would give out for no reason. (6/25/2024)
-added working crab pots. (8/15/2024)
-added an extra depth gauge since the sonar kept malfunctioning and an indicator light showing if the boat is in reverse. (8/31/2024)

skeeter I have made a modification to your vessel including upgraded buoys, from another creation that reach down to 80meters, as well as a different depth sounder, and weather and wind speed display and was wondering if it would be alright to post it in the workshop with credit to you for the ship

Hey squirrelz if you'd like to friend me i can show you the whole process. If not here what you do. First, grab a buoy from on top of the bow and connect it onto the electrical connector that's near the control panel; its above your head on the wall near the side. Then simply connect a rope to one of the ends of the crab pot, not the middle anchors. Then simply launch the pot and then once it hits bottom go ahead and hook the line onto the buoy you placed on the connector. Then throw your buoy over. I suggest that when your pulling another pot to place on the launcher use the picking boom. Its much less finicky compared to the large crane.

squirrrelz you just the ropes to conncent at the top or bottom of the pot and put a rope on the pot and launch it

hey man thanks for the great work. I feel stupid but having a hard time understanding:

- Which connecter is used to move pot from storage to launcher? Should I use ropes??
- Where to attach buoy to pot do it doesnt just sink down with the pot?

Thanks!
