Toyota C-HR Gen.2

C-HRは、トヨタ自動車が製造・販売するコンパクトSUVである。

名称の由来は、コンパクトでボディがリフトアップされた格好よいプロポーションを意味する「Compact High Rider」、
またはクーペのようなスタイルから「Coupe High Rider」、
走りの面ではハッチバックのようにキビキビ走れるクロスオーバーSUVを表現した「Cross Hatch Run-about」、
それぞれの頭文字を掛け合わせた造語から来ている。
アセット作者として、車名は「ChiHiRo(チヒロ)」や「PRIUS CROSS(プリウス クロス)」、「VISTA(ビスタ)」でもいい気がするが気のせいである。

ここでは二代目について紹介する。

2022年12月5日、欧州トヨタがコンセプトカー「C-HR プロローグ」を世界初公開。
2023年現在におけるトヨタのデザイン言語のひとつと思われるハンマーヘッドデザインを採用。

2023年6月26日、新型C-HRを世界初公開された。

エクステリアは、コンセプトカー「C-HR プロローグ」とほとんど変わらない「路上のコンセプトカー」といったインパクトの強いデザイン。

ボディサイズは全長4360mm×全幅1830mm×全高1558-1564mmで、ホイールベース2640mm、フロントオーバーハング915mm、リアオーバーハング805mm。

パワートレインは、GXL・Kobaがシステム最高出力約140馬力の1.8リッターエンジン＋モーターのハイブリッド（FFのみ）、
GRスポーツがシステム最高出力約197馬力の2.0リッターエンジン＋前後2モーターのハイブリッド（AWDのみ）。

余談だが、このアセット作者が特にビビったのは、ドイツでの最上級グレードとなる「GR SPORT Premiere」の価格で、
日本円750万円越えだという。
さすがにもし日本で売られたとしてもああいう750万円越えのものは出さないだろうなとは考察している。

Here we will introduce the second generation.

On December 5, 2022, Toyota Europe unveiled the concept car "C-HR Prologue" for the first time in the world.
It uses the hammerhead design, which is considered to be one of Toyota's design languages as of 2023.

On June 26, 2023, the new C-HR was unveiled to the world for the first time.

The exterior design has a strong impact, with a ``road concept car'' design that is almost the same as the concept car ``C-HR Prologue.''

The body size is 4,360 mm in length, 1,830 mm in width, and 1,558-1,564 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2,640 mm, front overhang of 915 mm, and rear overhang of 805 mm.

The powertrain for the GXL/Koba is a 1.8-liter engine + motor hybrid (FF only) with a maximum system output of approximately 140 horsepower.
The GR Sport is a hybrid (AWD only) with a 2.0-liter engine with a maximum system output of approximately 197 horsepower and two motors in the front and rear.

As an aside, the author of this asset was especially surprised by the price of the highest grade "GR SPORT Premiere" in Germany.
It is said to cost over 7.5 million Japanese yen.
I'm thinking that even if it was sold in Japan, it wouldn't cost more than 7.5 million yen.
