Jay's Pathfind Fix

Description
This mod fixes the pathfinding bug which exists as of 41.78. A video of the bug can be seen in Retanaru's video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zQ4wBcEIq7E.

WARNING --READ THIS!!!-- :
This is a java mod, so it needs to be installed manually. Activating this mod in the mod menu will do nothing.

HOW TO INSTALL:
To install, copy the zombie folder located in the mod folder into your installation folder for Project Zomboid.

You can find your installation folder on Steam by right clicking the game on the Steam Library -> Properties -> Browse

To find the mod folder (when installing from Steam), go to the install folder as done in the previous sentence. You should be in ...\SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\ProjectZomboid. Go out two folders so you are in ...\SteamLibrary\steamapps, then go to workshop -> content -> 108600 -> 3185310846

DESCRIPTION:
Do you like to build bases? Find that zombies seem to get stuck on walls and will sometimes stand aimlessly outside your base when they simply have to break through a few pieces of furniture?

This is a java mod which fixes pathfinding bugs from placing or building a thumpable furniture next to an indestructable wall. The mod also does not affect runtime of pathfinding, so it will not cause additional lag to your game.
Highly recommended for those who like to build defenses and especially for people running Horde Night.

ADDITIONAL NOTES:
The mod can be installed and uninstalled at any time. If any mistakes were made during install, or you wish to uninstall the mod, you can press Verify integrity of game files from the game's properties menu in the Steam Library. It will restore the files to their original state without affecting saves or any user data.
This mod can be safely installed mid-game and may be used in multiplayer.
Each player must install the mod for the fix to affect them in multiplayer.

I like the fix this mod implements for solid walls, but in a way I do wish zombies would still press up against fences instead of doing the weird shoulder dance when they see you. Could probably just download the "breakable world fences" instead.

is it compatible with better car physics?

If you are talking about ladders from the ladders mod then it is likely an issue with the ladders mod. Unfortunately I cannot help with that. If you climb to the top of the ladder and step on the ground then the zombies will properly path to you.

I scream from above being on the side of the ladder but not on the way up the ladder so that it is not so easy, and the zombies get disoriented or stay still or go below me as if the sound also came from below

Just tried it; I can't replicate the issue. How far away is the escalator from you? You might have to show me an image or vid of your base. If you decide to do so please create a new thread in the discussions

@Tnaz.v - I cannot replicate this error. The zombie walk up fine up stairs in houses and in escalators of the vanilla Grand Ohio Mall for me. Sometimes they get stuck for a second on walls but they recalculate to realize they should walk up the escalators eventually, which should also happen with vanilla pathfinding.

no it doesn't work with second floors, the zombies get confused and don't know how to go up the escalators on the xion map of the shopping mall

Tnaz.v - Yes, it should work just like vanilla
