SDX Adrastea V2 Novice Corvette

The V2 line of the Adrastea Novice Corvette is not so much a warship as it is the beginning of a journey. While all of the usual desirables are there (High redundancy conveyoring, 10G primary thrust, reactor-protected magazine, and max refire rate railgun to name a few), the true value of this vessel lies in its versatility and straightforward upgrade path.

The underslung hardpointing of the railgun, for example, allows for it to be easily replaced with a T-47 once the captain's budget allows. This frees up enough power to replace the forward deck PDC with a salvaged coilgun to further improve hunting efficiency and minimize overkill. The ship's abundant propulsion ensures that its agility will remain as it - and its pilot - grow.

In a similar vein, all of the PDCs are mounted on straight armored conveyors, making the hardpoints compatible with all modern point defense systems. The Tycho launchers are designed to be reloaded safely by crew during combat maneuvers, but please note that ITC offers no guarantees as to their survival during high G turns.
