Movable RV w/ Interior!

Description
A movable RV with interior!
Super-simplified, low-tech overhaul of the Pocket Dimensions mod.

Finally get to live like a nomad! Or like Heisenberg! Or like Indiana Jones!



Features:
  • Complete low-tech RV overhaul of the Pocket Dimensions mod.
  • Rename your RVs, open vents to equalize temperatures, use hoppers to automatically transfer items, use batteries to transfer electricity, have multiple RVs, move your RVs, etc. (Base Pocket Dimension features.)
  • An 'RV Nomads' starting scenario for quick nomadic start.

Requires: Either Pocket Dimensions (Continued) (for 1.5) or Pocket Dimensions.

Important:
  • Can not be driven with Vehicle Framework, only minified and relocated. Just imagine you're driving it while relocating!
  • Interior is square, exterior is rectangular. You can manually fill the interior with layers of walls to make it as rectangular as you want.
  • ALL contents are lost on RV destruction! Raiders will target RVs, so don't hide! Also don't put RVs into RVs, both will collapse.
  • Pawns don't path in and out on their own.

I believe anything's possible, but it's certainly hasn't been done before. The mod "Better VPE Skipdoor Pathing" has teleport pathing for example, but I doubt it transcends maps.

From my understanding of Rimworld modding, pathing in and out of RVs automatically is not a possibility. Am looking forward to Vehicle Framework support though.

I don’t know if the problem is in the mod, but with “Movable RV w/ Interior!” installed! "Pocket Dimensions (Continued)" does not work. No amount of research and materials can make an original building.

RimWorld (or the Pocket Dimension mod) isn't designed to be played like this. Your seemingly simple requests require big changes under the hood, so I personally won't be able to accomplish them. But I'm always open to people making patches/addons for this mod.

I do hear a lot of requests about the destructibility of the RV, so I will have another look at how well-balanced it is, and maybe adjust that.

4. Unable to kidnap people and put them in RV

5. Im just thinking,Could make a way to teleport into the RV map when the RV is "minified". (Like "long distance warping" so the RV can be placed in other movable vehicles. This way you don't have to have someone carry the RV every time you travel. You can also put the trade items directly into that vehicle.

i really like this mod, here is a few Problems encountered while playing
1. When trading with other factions, you must first take out the goods in the RV in other maps. (That is, you need to repeatedly enter and exit the map to complete the transaction)

2.The durability of RVs is too low, and the penalty for losing an RV is too high. If the RV is attacked while accelerating in an RV, there will be no notification, and the RV will be destroyed quickly. (Usually means all colonists will die)

3. To "place" the RV must be a large open space, which generally requires the colonists responsible for "Carrying" the RV to cut down trees. However, if the colonists have low "planting" skills or there are multiple RVs, it will be difficult to do.
