[OUTDATED] Hide Behind Tall Building

Description
You may continue to use this mod, but if you want to use it for more buildings, try this new mod.

Description
This mod causes pawns to be hidden and drawn behind buildings that are noticeably taller relative to the occupancy grid.

Currently only some taller buildings from some mods have been patched.

Changes other than appearance
  • Most of these patched buildings will be tagged as "impassable". will impede your pawn's path through.
  • Large buildings such as drapes, divider, and bookshelves will now be treated like walls. This will also block line of sight and bullets. The coverage efficiency is also the same as the wall. However, be careful as it is fragile.
  • Tall and thin building even impassable , but can still sight and bullets can still pass through them. (Banner, Stele etc.)
  • Storage buildings are not changes other than its appearance as it will interfere with storing job.

Some Issue Point

You can turn layers on and off for each building whenever needed.

A new version of this MOD has been released.

I forgot to setting it, but the new MOD and this MOD are incompatible. Do not use together.

@Si-Cafe, got it, thank you!

@lol The reason for the outdated tag is simply that I'm no longer maintaining it.
The functionality of this mod is not vanilla. And "changes other than appearance" not be game-breaking. This mod has no serious issues and still available in 1.5.

I am working on a new mod of this mod, but the release has been very delayed.

Sorry for the barrage of questions!

Is this outdated because it has become vanilla, or just a decision to stop maintaining? Description says "prepare to uninstall this for 1.5", but the the mod itself has the 1.5 tag. Will it be unlisted?

Also, looks like the "Changes other than appearance" bring a number of close to game-breaking stuff. Was that one of the reasons to stop maintaining?

Will there be an updated version?

@Troublesomeknight I have tagged this as deprecated, but you can continue to use it. However, this mod does not add any new support.

Literally this mod was released a month ago and you're already deprecating it?

@Kalmorph No, this mod will remain for the old version and the new mod will have a different name.

So you're gonna release a new mod, or gonna still use this page (ModID)?

This mod will be deprecated soon. It means being born again.
