Also, you can change the size of the light using the ConVar: Half_life_1_Flashlight_Range.
I made this myself, however I used Half Life 1 to test stuff to make it as accurate as possible.
Yes, that is normal.
Whats happening is: The flashlight gets detected and is replaced with the Half Life 1 flashlight.
