Ancient Greek Hoplons

Hey, I am 'LanenDarn' the Mod Maker of the Rimworld Mod 'Ancient Greek Hoplons'.

This mod is mainly a passion project of mine but while I gladly spend my time making something for all to enjoy, I sure would not mind being payed for it either.

I try to create an authentic 'Ancient' experiance (at least as authentic as Rimworld and its artstyle permit).

How ever, I am not above the rule of cool - so adding thematically appropriate things which may not fit perfectly in the time or realism of my mods will definitively happen.

Currently this Mod contains:

Hoplon Shields:
-Athena
-Gorgon
-Kraken
-Trident
-Sparta
-Scorpion

Weapons:
-Doru (spear)
-Kopis (Sword)
-Xiphos (Sword)

Helmets:
-Phyrgian
-Hellenistic
-Crested Hellenistic transversely
-Crested Hellenistic longitudinally

Clothing:
-Chiton (Skin Layer Clothing)
-Chalmys (Outher/Shell Layer Cloak)


Futur Ideas and additions

Armors: (Big Maybe due to the amount of work)

Known problems to be worked on:

-Unclean masking layer for weapons

The current plan is to make two factions(Peloponnesian League, Delian League) and maybe one Scenario where you start off as neutral to both.

Any further more distinct cultures/factions like Macedon and Persion might end up in their own seperate mods so people can pick and chose.

While a donation would be much apprechiated, I am currently on a bit of a hiatus because of some personal health reasons so keep that in mind when you wish to support me and my work!

@Sir Brynn Two Questions, One, If you make the factions will they have scenarios. Two, are there any other factions like macedon you are planning to add, I could pay if you need me to.

@kAt (≡◉‿‿◉≡) - Thats a first, but I can try and look in to it. Though it sounds more like a problem on your end. Changing equipment used on already custom/Modded Factions can be tricky and unstable.

I have lots of problems with this mod. It has some error(s) that generates from the start such as this

Config error in LanenDarn_SkorpionShield: description has trailing whitespace
(Filename: C:\buildslave\unity\build\Runtime/Export/Debug/Debug.bindings.h Line: 39)

Also it causes a CTD without errors if I add it on preferred equipment for the VFE - Classical faction and generate a friendly raid with them equipping this.

I'll just remove it for now. I hope it will have some compatibility with the other mods. IDK, maybe it's just my modlist full of medieval related stuff. Good design though.

@oomyekcumsagtsigar - II am trying my hand at doing some furniture and pillars and the like now and then, but I have not produced anything I like on that front so far
