ZE Train Wheels Antislip

Kuvaus
  • A controller that prevents wheels slip for trains powered with electric motors while accelerating or decelerating.
  • Requires the linear speed sensor and the torquemeter, installed right before the train wheels assembly.
  • Has an optional antislip for the brakes and controls it independently of the motors throttle. If you don't need this feature for brakes, ignore or remove corresponding nodes.

Train wheel assembly x3 has the same wheel grip as the x1, it is better to use three of them instead.

I'm using the Train Wheel Assembly x3, and there is still a ton of wheel-slip at max sensitivity

I have similar problem like "Nick Name". accel sensitivity 1 its a little better, but with heavy cart im very slowly get to 15km/h. But by hand i can get 20km/h without slip and a lot faster.

via xml sure, whats your disc?

You can send me your train via workshop or xml, maybe i will find out why it is so slow.

the input speed is directly from the linear sensor, and it is after any gearbox, directly on the wheels

I updated the controller and reduced the slider multiplier, so now it should be even smaller on sensitivity 1. Also, check if the torquemeter connected to the wheels directly without any gearboxes, and if the input speed is in m/s.

I've done so all the way to 1, acceleration becomes a slight bit better, but still alot worse, takes me ages to get up to 30ish mph, when i could get up to 120 without it

Try to reduce the antislip sensitivity slider.

the only issue i have with this, is on heavier train the wheel tends to sleep a tiny bit when accelerating, they rotate faster than the train they're on, but don't actually slip, your controller doesn't seem to account for that for me, meaning it greatly criples it's acceleration
