If nothing is spawning, please type this command in game chat (pressing Enter):
/MES.SPI
(press Enter again to send the command).

You should see message "Chat command Spawn Request Sent"

And start seeing the spawns.

Some people report that using MES Settings mod makes things much better (haven't tried it myself yet)

P.S. Thanks to Fallen Angel who tried it and informed that with this mod spawns appear faster.

Also, if you find terrain is too rough to drive, try adding Smooth Voxels mod.

Enjoy and huge props to Splitsie and everyone involved for creating this awesomeness!

Having a blast in my current playthough: As a special challenge I did not mine any ice but made it to space with looted hydrogen only.

A single large hydrogen thruster, five small ones and two large atmo engines as boosters, combined with a cockpit, two solar sails and two batteries was enough to lift me and a single large cargo container to space.

Capturing my first large grid space ship was though. Since then I have captured most of what I need: A large hydro thruster, plenty of io thrusters and large cargo containers.

I turned off the jetpack limitation and maybe vanilla encounters will provide more blocks and ressources. If you make it to space let me know how you proceeded.

I love the fact that can find, loot and use blocks of the DLC i do not own.. Now I need to build a large grid plantery lander to pick up some of those large hangar doors.. or visit the moon?

phfor nailed it. I've never started a game that way, so was unfamiliar with the process. I originally stumbled upon how to use "star system" start and spawn in BP's so I thought I could add this planet that way LOL!
The steps 1: Start Space Engineers, 2: look for Community Content tab, 3: choose this
were exactly the information I was missing. Thanks phfor =D

Wood_[OBC] This is save game file, just subscribe to it and start it in SE. Make sure you are opening correct save game file. You should see Satreus spawn point by default. No need to do anything extra. Your game will automatically download and start all the mods that are in this save game file. If it doesn't work, check consistency of game files in Steam.

Start new game, community content, pick this?

Is there any place that gives instructions to use this?

Attempting to start my own local "scrapyard survival" after playing on friends world. He's setup on Satreus. I can't seem to get started - have all the mods Splitsie talked about, but nobody says how to get from "subscribed to mods" to "playing on Satreus or other planet designed for this mod.

Saying "use f10 and "just spawn it in" doesn't work for me. Though I've subscribed to this and Satreus - there are zero new planets to spawn in - only the default ones... help?

McOrigin I heard Splitsie said it's gonna be working in space as well. If you try it, please kindly provide a response here for others.

Really loving this version of the mod / szenario. Got a nice little base on a large "lake" and collecting stuff an palettes is great.
Got a frew questions, though: If I ever make it to space, is MES going to spawn stuff up there too? Just scrap grids or "live" commercial ships too?
What a bout other planets? I saw some several other planets with the 3rd person camera, is MES going to work there as well?
