Saint John of Acre (multi) - updated

Description
Saint John of Acre

I made the mod inspired by historical reconstitution of the city before his fall in 1291 by Mamluks.
This is just a map mod to test before implement to MK1212 main mod.

I made outfields but there still bugs because its a custom map RGB 0 0 0 0 so Terry doesn't traduct properly between sea coast and the settlement (black). To fix that I need to attribute a lighter color to the settlement and place it in the main_campaign_tile (map in campaign) but I need the raw data of the MK1212 campaign to modify this settlement position. But for now I keep black color (assemly kit).

There is a bug too for Escalations but I think is due to 'save as battlefield' and not directly export with BOB, because all TED battlefields cannot get escalation.

The AI logic of Attila still dump 💩 I connot do something to improve AI, even if I put Go_region to force attack. AI will wait end offf all catapult ammunition before attacking the city so you must wait AI use all of engines ammo.

History

The siege of Acre (also called the fall of Acre) took place in 1291 and resulted in the Crusaders' losing control of Acre to the Mamluks. It is considered one of the most important battles of the period. Although the crusading movement continued for several more centuries, the capture of the city marked the end of further crusades to the Levant. When Acre fell, the Crusaders lost their last major stronghold of the Crusader Kingdom of Jerusalem. They still maintained a fortress at the northern city of Tartus (now in north-western Syria), engaged in some coastal raids, and attempted an incursion from the tiny island of Ruad; but, when they lost that, too, in a siege in 1302, the Crusaders no longer controlled any part of the Holy Land.

Next step

- replace default Acre port assault in MK1212 campaign by this map (as port assault, no more as city assault)
- create scripted historical port assault Acre
- Add more custom model assets (crusader_models) like new medieval eastern walls and houses, recreate a 3d model for hospitaler castle
- Add the small version (holycross cathedral in construction) and "sassanid" (ayyoubid or mamluk) version (with the templar castle destroyed and a mosque to replace the holycross cathedral

Map location

Needed

crusader models:

optional

I used sassanid buildings so if you want a medieval aspect I advice you to subscribe to all MK1212ad mods too:

I would be happy to get your feedback and improve the map :)

Have fun

UPDATE

- attackers zone closer to the walls and ia logic update
- barricades fixed

thanks StormOfWar for your feedback I modified the map to fix the bugs you reported ;) for guns I understan because the second walls are 10 meters higher, the map is influenced by illustrations before the siege of Acre in 1291, guns weren't present during this period, the city was modified after this period
