Description
This simple mod add the ability to dig and fill. Allowing you to enlarge your farmland or dig a circle of marsh around your base... whatever.

The digging and filling speeds are depend on one's mining speed.

If this mod grants construction experience because of technical limitations, wouldn't it be better for it to also use construction as the work type so that it is affected by the skill to which it grants the xp?

I have added and removed this mod mid save with no issues. Since you perform work to directly alter terrain, with no ingredients or resources required, there is maximum compatiblity.

My only complaint is that there is no way to convert soil to sand. It is often desirable to reduce the odds of plant growth with sand, without significantly lowering movement speed with mud. The easiest method to fix that would be a patch/fork/toggle that moves Soil to be an upgrade of Gravel instead of Mud. A more advanced solution would be adding a third work designation type to sidegrade between the Soil and Sand branches.

There are a lot of mods that try to change soil types. Is this one a less resource intensive version of Soil Relocation Framework? ( https://steamproxy.net/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2654088143 )

I am not so much interested in what I can do with it in-game (not being able to drag dirt into a cave base seems like the sane balance choice) as much as how the two compare for bloating memory and save files. I imagine yours is much more mid-save and removal friendly?

@Hank Bot so do this mod. It didn't provide capability to fill shallow water, and I'm not intended to add it, sorry.

Medieval Expanded actually work, but you have to dry the terrain from water at first. With a pump lol and as I'm playing Medieval I don't have it in my techs.

Unfortunatelly not, Vanilla Faction Expanded - Medieval doesn't seems to allow fill up the mud or marsh, if it even suppose to I think last version is bugged. I've tried to run clean Rimworld only with their mod and it doesn't work, meanwhile your mod works perfectly fine.

Tried to remove terrain, dig and fill files from Medieval Expanded and it didn't solve the problem, I it's more complicated than a removing xmls.

@Hank Bot
then don't use them together, they're literally doing the same thing.

Found out that it conflicts with Vanilla Faction Expanded - Medieval, as I get with VFE Medieval: Moat Changes precisely. Anyway to fix it?
