This mod is a re-work of my other mod, Colors Coordinated and adds 17 different colored dye bottles that can be used to dye most of the clothing and weapon items in the game.

Weapons and magazines can have the dye removed using a weapon cleaning kit

Client - Subscribe and load with DayZ launcher or add -mod=@Multi Purpose Dye Redux to your DayZ launch parameters in Steam & launch through Steam.
Server - Copy @Multi Purpose Dye folder from your client directory to your servers root directory, copy Multi_Purpose_Dye.bikey to your server keys folder and add -mod=@Multi Purpose Dye to your servers launch parameters.
Next, open "MPDtypes.xml" with notepad++, select all + copy then paste the text into your servers types.xml file located in "DayZServer\mpmissions\dayzOffline.chernarusplus\db"
Paste it at the top after the opening <types> or at the bottom before the ending </types>. Either way will work fine.

If you do not edit types.xml, the dyes will not spawn into the world. You can admin spawn them but they will not spawn on their own without editing types.xml. I included "Ballerinas" in the types file if you'd like to use them as well since they are not included in the vanilla types.xml
I have also included a trader config containing the dye bottles so you can easily add them if you are using the trader mod by Dr J0nes


Knownn Issues: Dyed magazines do NOT work in un-dyed weapons.
Dying an item that has items in its inventory will make those items invisible. Same for weapons with attachments. Can be fixed by re-logging into server. For best results, ONLY dye items with an EMPTY inventory and weapons with NO attachments.

I do not care what you do with this mod including sticking it in your pooper as long as you do not lock it behind a paywall. In other words, you are NOT allowed to require people to donate in order to use any of the items in this mod. Also, you MUST credit me if added to a mod pack or else I will be really sad :( and say bad things about you on the internet.
