  • Mining requires actual use of Mining Subsystems
  • Claimable asteroid are easier to spot

Performance
Hidden asteroids have much less blocks
  • Faster sector load time
  • More FPS at high density asteroid fields

All right, I did check - there are no issues with Mining Carriers.

Installing valid Mining Subsystem to a Carrier will instantly allow fighters to mine hidden asteroids (in scanner range at least)

I'll check Carriers again - but the only change it should make is - Carrier has to have Mining Subsystem installed, with Material detection higher, or equal to resources in given sector.

Hidden asteroids were always "invisible" to AI without mining upgrades.
But you might have found a bug, so I'll check.

Hi, I'm not 100% sure if I'm doing it right, but it seems this might be stopping the AI from mining? I've got a carrier with mining fighters and a mining subsystem, but despite it detecting ore, it won't follow the mine command. Any clue if I am doing something wrong?
