Description
"A modified version of the RBN Zarial class corvette designed to bring down ships more heavily armored than itself. The Zarial Torpedo Corvette is almost entirely identical to its standard counterpart save for the ventral artillery turret being swapped for an 8 rack torpedo launcher. This launcher has a wide angle of rotation and limited elevation which allows the Zarial to quickly engage targets with its torpedos regardless of direction, although it has noteable blindspots towards the rear. While the 8 torpedos had to be reloaded at port they gave the Zarial the ability to cripple or even destroy larger more heavily armed vessels by leveraging its speed and maneuverability to get to a firing position. Overall their use would drop off over time as the torpedos were slow and ineffective at bypassing large point defense grids."

Note: Torps are bound to the turret controller, simply click while using the custom turret to fire a torpedo or let the turret ai control it (can be buggy)

@pandium because I prefer to build for lore and looks over function, yes I could easily swap to artillery but thatd be so boring.

The fact that its a corvette also tells me the you're not going for long range pvp battles, Cuteseals2. Good job! Looks great!

@Cuteseals2, it looks amazing! I wouldn't sweat what Pandium is saying. Keep up the good work! If Pandium wants a better ship, Pandium can design it himself.

I'm not saying that it has to be a meta ship. However, if you can make it more effective without sacrificing looks, then why not to do so?

The idea of launching torpedoes through a turret is organized in an original way. Another plus for the author in addition to the excellent design.

I generally agree, but artillery turrets are not needed here. This does not fit the role of the ship and spoils the design. The idea of going into battle on a ship that does not have armor and welders for automatic repair is not a good one. We need close-in defense against drones and missiles, and what is already installed is sufficient here.

There is a lot of space for imporvements. These torpedoes are unguided, unrechargable, quite expensive and without any protection against interception. I've tried launching all of them at once at a static target armed with a few ball turrets, not a single torpedo hit a target. Also the ship lacks long-range armament, I'd replace assault turrets with artillery
