Halo 4: Modern Warfare DEMO

Halo 4: Modern Warfare is a mod for Halo 4. Which aims to recreate the gameplay and mechanics of the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare games. Mainly Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare (2007) and Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 (2009)

Note: This mod is currently a Demo and is not content or feature complete.

In order to play the Multiplayer of Halo 4: Modern Warfare you will need to seperatly download These gametypes are required for when hosting a Multiplayer game. as the mod won't work correctly without them. There are two methods of obtaning these game types.


Method 1 (Works for Steam and Microsoft Store on both Linux/Steam Deck and Windows):

• Launch Halo: MCC
  
• Click on the Player Menu on the right hand side of the Main Menu screen and select "Find Player"
  
• Search for the user "Priception"
  
• Go to Priception's Fileshare and select "Game Types"
  
• Download all the game types starting with "H4MW"

Method 2 (Works for Steam and Microsoft Store on Windows Only):

• Go to this download page: https://www.nexusmods.com/halothemasterchiefcollection/mods/2483/
  
• Do a "Manual Download" of the "Halo 4: Modern Warfare: Multiplayer Game Types" on this page
  
• Open up File Explorer and paste in the following path:
  
  %userprofile%/appdata/locallow/mcc/localfiles
• Open the folder named with a bunch of random letter and numbers and then open the "Halo4" Folder and then the "GameType" folder.
  
• Copy and Paste all the ".bin" files you downloaded into the "GameType" folder.

These Gametypes were only made to work with Multiplayer Maps part of the "Halo 4: Modern Warfare" Mod. Using these gametypes on other mods or the Base Game Maps will cause them to break.

The goal of this mod is to have a completely reworked Campaign and an entirely brand new Multiplayer. So far, this mod is more of a "proof of concept." This is the content available in the mod so far:

The Forge in this mod has been modified removing all UNSC, Covenant and Forerunner weapons and replacing them with the Halo 4: Modern Warfare weapons.
