The Xitedura is an old but trusty hull, used for generations by belters for pirating and anti-pirating activity alike. The original hull was classified as a frigate made before even Epstein technology was invented. It's original design and name has been completely lost to the fog of war and history. It's original armament is rumoured to be an age old high powerdraw spinal rearward fixed railgun, but no variants have been spotted. Long decommisioned by Inner nations the old hulls have been patched up and modified and passed down generation of belters who pushed the far reaches of settlement in the outer solar system.
Many names have been given to it but the Langbelta portmanteau Xitedura is the one it carries with a level of pride. Strong Strike, Durable Hitter, rough translation but it encompasses it's capabilities. Most variants in present day are patchworks of parts, rusty yet durable. Mostly seen with the armament of 1 Zakosetara Railgun turret and a formidable PDC net, technicaly classifying it as a Destroyer, however compared to modern destroyer classes it lacks the raw speed to be classed as such, luckily it makes up for it in Durability.
At the formation of the OPA nation and the anouncement of opening of Miller Mobile Construction Barge. Many young Belter bossmangs pressured the OPA engineers to modernize the Xitedura. To stand on the shoulders of old belter legends and use the ship that had made the belter pirate legends whispered in the alleyways of Ceres station and 2Pallas come to life. OPA engineers being reluctant yet with the wisdom of Belter Captains that flew and modified these hulls, a modernisation project started and came to a result. Sporting more Drives, Better PDC placement, some Internal rework, and an updated Salvaging rig, The Xitedura is ready to continue it's belter legacy.
