Description
This mod reduces every country to just its capital, and gives everyone some colonists to repopulate the territory.

Q: I installed the mod and every country still owns everything!
A: Load into the game, all the territory will be lost day one.

Also, there are some descisions at the start of the game to add some countries to eastern europe and china, so that more space can get filled up during recolonization.

This mod was designed to be compatible with any other mod, even ones that drastically change the map. (Given that it still uses 1444 as the start date, but I'll have that fixed soon)

I'll work on adding an option without the buffs, as well as fixing the goods.

Very cool! I love these kind of mods, but the old world provinces won't spawn nice trade goods, just grain and livestock

Is there a version without colonial buffs?

any chance there is one with out the massive settlers increase so its slow to allow some countries to actually grow some?

I gave the AI a huge tax boost because they won't use their colonists otherwise. it's essentially a workaround so that the AI doesn't just sit there.

Not getting Recolonization Yearly Tax Increase (maybe just the 2nd one but not 1st one):
When I start, single or multiplayer, tax rates differ for humans (+7.22) and AI countries (+17.09), why the difference? Have tried both regular nations and custom nations. The AI still have their start armies and continue to support them due to the increased tax. It gives them a big bonus, which they they do need, but some starts I get swamped early by countries who still have their large initial start armies due to the large tax bonus they (and not we) are getting.

if anyones curious: yes, the early game becomes hell lol. Its so slow cuz the game has to calculate all the colonies. But it does get better after 1460

As a side note: ive noticed the AI doesnt colonize a lot of provinces throughout the world (or at least just in europe. I also noticed that none of the mesoamerican/incan countries try to colonize anything. Ive seen all of mexico empty with everyone being an OPM

@sumguy , ah I noticed that issue (with the trade goods) a few days ago, I've been busy lately but I'll try and have that fixed soon.
