Grey's Hunting Bow

Description
BRIEF: Basically a hunting bow with dragonbone stats... that's about it really...


Just a small mod I made for myself a while back. Its been sitting in my computer for a while and I stubled across it today so I decided to post it here. If you are a follower of mine, you would have seen this bow in many of my mod cover photos.

I really liked the look of the hunting bow, but it is pathetically weak. This creates a unique hunting bow called "Grey's Hunting Bow" which has the base damage of the dragonbone bow (20). Doesn't affect any other hunting bows in the game.

Its location is a secret, the images show where it is, now you just have to find it!
Hint: Check the pools west of whiterun!

Thanks Grey! This really worked for my Ranger's Apprentice character build as I didnt want him using a dragonbone bow.
Is nice.

I'm highly confused I installed the mod and there only was an ork sword O_o maybe it didn't worked....

yeah.. :/ if i didnt have such an issue trying to load up the CK i'd probably be pouring out new mods of my own by the bucket load by now... lord knows i have no shortage of ideas... but as fate would have it, im stuck with this dilemma.

also im not sure if pm'ing is a thing in steam unless i add you as a friend first. unless valve changed that recently...

that would be a useful skill to learn... if my pc was even capable of running the CK... :/ ive tried on multiple separate occasions to use the CK for one thing or another and it always crashed or froze indefinately on just trying to load up skyrim.esm... i blame my potato of a computer.

I can do one better: teach you how to do it yourself ;)

Adjusting a weapons stats is super easy to do in the Creation Kit, and once know how, you can do it for anything. PM me if you are interested

hey just gotta say i think the same way about the hunting bows, and while i would love to use this, i would most likely still end up using the vanilla "Angi's Bow", because Scoped Bows [www.nexusmods.com] specifically retextures said bow to be even prettier than normal hunting bows, and because of that i typically end up still using it into the late game because it looks so good.

so if its possible, could you please make a tiny mod that specifically adjusts "Angi's bow" to have stronger stats like you did here? if youd do that i would be so happy!

I do have a restoration one that is a bit priestlike, but it is offensive and utility based.
