Nautilith

Description
In comes the ancient automaton, Nautilith, recently resurfaced. Wreak havoc on armadas and others with your sluggy slipperiness!

Nautilith is a fast, frantic rushdown character who prioritizes in chasing you down. Drop an anemone on the field with down special to catch and throw projectiles (neutral b to throw), and let it aid your combo game as you weave your way through opponents!

Down Special: Bring out an Anemone friend to catch projectiles
Neutral Special: Whistle the anemone to fire what it's caught
Side Special: Throw out a bomb
Up Special: Grapple opponents and walls with a up angled whip

Specials are buggy, apologies for that. We had a lot of ambitious ideas that didn't end up fully panning out. Nautilith 2.0 is still cooking

Lore:

Not much is known about the history of the water people of Aether. Much of their ancient rise to power remains undocumented and undiscussed. Those with ancestors in the army keep the story to themselves by request of their family, presumably from the shame of their overnight collapse. Alas, the shame was not from anything truly war related (they never even made it to the first battle), but from the annoyance of one manufactured fighter; Nautilith.
The humble sea slug was the army’s worst choice to produce, being too slippery to contain and too nimble to outgun. Seemingly overnight, Nautilith managed to disable the water army’s robotic forces before they even had a chance to flood Aether (so to speak). His motive? Nothing more than pure mischievous anarchy.

When he was finally cornered, the army generals shut him down and left him at the bottom of the sea as punishment. All records were scrubbed, and remaining leaders quietly abandoned colonialist ideals. Recently, Merchant Port’s fishing nets accidentally pulled Nautilith up from the depths, being passed onto Ayala to examine. Understanding his capabilities, she decided to let Nautalith loose on Elianna as an offhanded-payback attempt. The ensuing rivalry, between a chaotic machine seeking to destroy, and the spiteful snake denied her revenge, would ultimately bring nothing but headaches for the Air Armada.

Hi! Yes! I am aware of this problem
The character was initially uploaded with the rivals 2 contest tag at the original deadline in January, but was updated recently for Genesis X. This patch won't be considered when grading in the contest. That said, the removal of a tag was still an accident. I am going to HOPE that they just have the old version saved and reupload it with the tag later, but if that ends up disqualifying us, then.

Y'know, we tried.

for those who need more extra info

Up special is a tether, and has a tipper if you hit someone
Down Special puts down an anemone that can catch your Side Special projectile and then when you press Neutral Special it spits it back out upwards.
Down Air is a heavy blow
