The Deani is a single stage enclosed mobile orbital station capable of motion under onboard system power. Capable of jumping to designated areas, docking up to 2 small to medium sized ships, and equipped with 4 defense turrets of various types, the Deani is a shining example of one of the commonplace waystations that can be found in Artemis.

Acting as a commercial hub, the Deani houses a full lobby that functions as both a business center and flight port with the ability to act as a sort of space based airport for incoming/outgoing transports. Frequently placed above moons, planets, and even found in asteroid clusters with frequent mining vessel traffic, this model is both versatile and affordable for production.

Housing a crew of 4 for long term management and repairs in the upper decks, the MOS design tends to last longer than most station types given its ability to leave a contested area if needed. Flight control, primarily for orientation and jumping, is operated by crew and helps them ensure the safety of the occupants should conflict become an issue. While armed with some defense, the MOS models are not designed for combat and thus are not generally commissioned by the AUC as it has limited production/refueling capabilites as opposed to the OSW modes.

Although no lore exists for the MOS, it is the most familiar small scale ports found throughout AUC space and civilians frequent them.
