Presentation

In real life, generals and field marshals are not omniscient. Typically they must rely on scant information from battlefield reports and on imperfect, often faulty battlefield intelligence. In HOI4, the player has godlike powers of prescience. The game's combat UI shows a number/percentage indicating how close to completion combat is. For every single combat battle and minor engagement that takes occurs, the player almost assuredly knows the outcome.

This mod changes the UI battle indicators on the map to no longer completely predict the outcome of a battle, no longer display the duration of combat time remaining, and adjusts UI tooltips to hide this information. Combat now has more guesswork involved and puts the player on a more level playing field against the AI for a much more difficult challenge. However, with the colors remaining, you still have some info (Combat info isnt completely erased)

For singleplayer or multiplayer, this mod can make your gameplay much less predictable. Enjoy.

Basically just deletes the numbers, but keep the colours and have a more nice battle indicator
It only ocult the number of combat indicator because the other one was extreme, (even during the combats info werent nule).

Compatibility
This mod shoud in theory be compatible with every other mod. However for some mods like TNO it may seem out ouf place due to style being different. Please tell me if you notice a strange thing

DISCORD SERVER
IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT :

Due to being very tired of picking up individual requests and wanting to centralize things a bit, I created a full discord server for my mod collection. I'll be rarely answering to comments, especially bug reports and suggestions. You can do all that in the new discord here:

I have a problem/suggestion. I want to use this mod as part of a modset to play with a group of friends, but I feel as if they might not like this mod as it can make decisions within micro on the front line blurry.(I know that's the point of the mod and why *I* like it)

May I suggest as a different mod, as a variant of this mod, if a battle is within your radar coverage to show the battle indicator number? I feel as if it's a nice idea, and most people don't really build radar despite its benefits would be a cool and unique way of buffing radar. It could act like a in world way of showing the useful adoption of radio upon the battlefield. (Yes I know radio isn't radar, but a games a game. Focus on fun and interesting mechanics while implementing a psuedo realistic mechanic seems cool.)

do you think you could replace the black direction pointer with the coloured one (green, yellow, red)? it made sense for the old mod with no colours but puts me off using this mod because it just looks weird. would really appreciate it!

Agreed on the operations part as I find it strange we can't do operations where we can send agents to destroy one of the enemy ships in their navy (like maybe one small ship in their fleet and not like an aircraft carrier or something). Or one of their trains or shipping convoys. If I remember correctly, our agents sabotage things like factories by arming partisan forces yet we can't do an operation that can destroy one of their ships? We have the option to infiltrate their navy yet we only use it to steal blueprints. Heck, we can infiltrate their army yet we aren't able to weaken one of their divisions, only steal army blueprints. It's part of the reason as to why I don't really use the intel agency that much aside from ciphers.
